In her late twenties, she went on to host & produce a music entertainment TV program, “Offstage“, which was voted “Best of Detroit” for entertainment TV show. “Offstage” grew from its focus of providing TV exposure for local bands & musicians – to eventually having the “big boys” calling from WEA (Warner Electra Atlantic Records) and Capital Records, to promote their international rock bands to the Detroit market. Michelle Valentine found herself schmoozing with Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Metallica, Pantera, Dream Theatre, and many more international acts. Other television programs Michelle Valentine has created, hosted, and produced: “Michigan Shopping Network” a local home-shopping program; “LVogue” a women’s fashion & beauty program; “Pets On Parade” an animal adoption program; and “Hamtramck’s Future” a political program that created such controversy, it secured front-page news of the local newspaper, public outcry, and immediate cancellation!
