What is a Conveyor Belt Sushi Restaurant?
You must watch this short video of a conveyor belt sushi restaurant I visited in South Florida!
Originated in Japan
These restaurants originated in Japan, but it became popular and the idea spread worldwide.
In 1958, Shiraishi Yoshiaki opened the first conveyor belt sushi restaurant after seeing conveyor belts being used in the production of beer.
How It Works:
A conveyor belt restaurant works by sushi or any food rotating through the restaurant, the plates move past every table so anyone can pick up what they like.
The bill is determined after by the amount and types of plates from the eaten food.
It is an enjoyable and unique dining experience for all ages!
