Our television production crew consisted of several members, and the spacious accommodations at the Hampton Inn Opelousas were a perfect fit for our needs. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the cozy beds provided a restful night’s sleep after long days of filming.

Equipped with modern amenities, such as a flat-screen TV and much-needed high-speed internet, we had the perfect balance of relaxation and productivity during our stay.

Each room offered big desks with more than enough room for a laptop computer, plus there was ample counter space, allowing my makeup artist/hairstylist to lay out all her supplies with ease when working on me.

The Hampton Inn Opelousas proved to be an excellent choice for our television production crew, thanks to its impressive facilities and amenities. We were particularly delighted with the well-equipped business center, which allowed us to manage a few work tasks efficiently.

Additionally, the fitness center provided a much-needed outlet for one of our team members to unwind and stay energized throughout her stay.

One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary hot breakfast served daily. We savored a delectable array of Southern-inspired dishes that truly reflected the local flavors of Opelousas.

From freshly baked fruit pastries to fluffy make-your-own waffles, and crispy bacon and sausage links, each morning was a culinary adventure that fueled us for the day’s filming.

Cookies, Tea, and Me

The Hampton Inn Opelousas took hospitality to a whole new level with their daily fresh-baked chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies, accompanied by refreshing lemon or cucumber water, welcoming us at the front door.

My crew and I would always grab a couple of fresh cookies on our way to our rooms.

Additionally, the hot coffee and tea bar was a delightful treat, and I couldn’t resist taking a soothing cup of tea up to my room each night, adding a touch of comfort to my stay.

Adding to the enchanting experience, my room at the Hampton Inn Opelousas gifted me with breathtaking views that painted the skies with beautiful sunsets each evening! Witnessing the vibrant colors of the Louisiana horizon from the comfort of my window became a nightly ritual to watch and take photos.

These sunsets etched the magic of Opelousas in my heart forever!
