Internships:

We are always seeking creative, organized, and enthusiastic interns to gain experience in the television, marketing, communications, public relations, and tourism industries! Internships are NON-PAID with required 120 total hours within a period of 3 – 4 months. Extremely flexible schedule, approximately 10 hours per week. Fully remote. Weekly reports, forms, and phone sessions with supervisor. Currently enrolled college students or graduates may apply.

YouTube, Content Coordinator

Learn how to revise content with updated SEO titles, descriptions, tags, hyperlinks, cards. All past television series, new behind-the-scenes videos, more.

• Creating new titles and descriptions using AI prompts
• Adding/removing tags
• Adding hyperlinks to appropriate website pages
• Adding beginning and ending watch cards to videos

Video Editor

Learn video editing skills using current video footage and photos. All training provided, but preference will be given to experienced/knowledgeable video editors.

• Creating and designing short videos from our filming behind-the-scenes videos and photos
• Capturing and creating short videos from television show episodes
• Capturing still shots from television show episodes
• Addition of text and logo to videos

Blog Coordinator

Learn to become a blogging expert on WordPress. Importing written blog posts and images, tagging, categories, affiliates, and html coding. Scheduling posts. All training provided, but preference will be given to experienced/knowledgeable WordPress user.

• Creating proper formatting of blog posts from Michelle Valentine’s writings
• Change out current featured images on WordPress with new images
• Tagging of posts
• Scheduling of posts
• Inputting html coding for affiliates

Newsletter Communications Coordinator

Learn to create and design weekly email newsletters. All training provided.

• Creation of content for themes and holidays
• Designing weekly email newsletters via GoDaddy email marketing
• Usage of ad copy, images, and links
• Scheduling in advance

Events Calendar Coordinator

Learn how to search for ideal events and add to calendar on WordPress/Avada website. Learn correct tagging, html coding, widget embedding, affiliate connecting, updating past events. All training provided.

• Search for monthly world events based on provided specific criteria
• Adding events to WordPress/Avada website
• Affiliate html coding for widget embedding

Graphic Designer, Shop Products

Learn unique ways to make product labels “pop”. You will be working on new products Michelle Valentine is launching in her shop, such as beauty products and candles and more. Preference given to graphic design experience in Canva or Photoshop.

• Designing of product labels, printables, more
• Coordination of complementary titles and images
• Downloading and saving images in various sizes

Travel Cookbook Organization

Michelle Valentine is working on a travel cookbook based on the “Love Eat Travel” national PBS television series. Intern will learn about publishing and the design, layout, and coordination process of creating a book. Preference given to graphic design experience in Canva or Photoshop.

• Connecting with chefs and business owners to elicit recipes
• Organizing recipes and travel stories by required theme
