One of the best things to do at Pier 39 is shopping. There are many unique shops that you won’t find anywhere else in the city.

From souvenirs to clothing, there’s something for everyone.

Be sure to snap a picture in front of the pier’s sign or with the iconic Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

Go on an adventure

Pier 39 is home to many different attractions, including a seven-story carousel, an aquarium, and a wax museum.

There’s also a ropes course and zipline for those looking for an adrenaline rush.

Take the ferry ride to Alcatraz Island… I took the evening tour of Alcatraz, and it was awesome!


 

Indulge in some Seafood

One of the best things about being near the water is having access to fresh seafood. Pier 39 is no exception – there are plenty of restaurants serving up delicious seafood dishes.

Plus, there are lots of restaurants that serve up tasty drinks! My mom loved her cold & refreshing strawberry daquiri!

Pier 39 is a great place to spend a day in San Francisco. There are plenty of things to see and do, and the views are pretty incredible.

To make the most of your day, start by getting there early. Then, walk around and explore all the shops and restaurants. Be sure to check out the sea lions, and don’t forget to grab a bite to eat!
