Park Place at Heathrow Center – “Sit Stay Sip” – Lake Mary, Florida

September 2015

Michelle Valentine donated her original artwork Tears of Poppy to the silent auction for Sit Stay Sip, an annual fundraising event benefiting T.E.A.R.S. (Together Every Animal Receives Support) in partnership with Seminole County Animal Services. The organization supports dogs and cats in need, improving shelter conditions and helping animals find forever homes.

A romantic month-long solo show featuring 12 original works by Michelle Valentine, including Distressed Frenchman and Rip A Piece of My Heart. Each piece created an immersive emotional experience for viewers. The wine-themed venue enhanced the romantic ambiance.

A vibrant solo exhibition featuring live jazz, wine tastings, and two original works by Michelle Valentine: Rip A Piece of My Heart and Boy in Love. Scion Installation L.A. Gallery – Culver City Arts District – Scion Installation 4: “It’s a Beautiful World” – Los Angeles, California

Michelle Valentine attended this exclusive final stop of Scion’s revolutionary national art tour, Installation 4: “It’s a Beautiful World,” held at the Scion Installation L.A. gallery in the Culver City Arts District. The prestigious event featured a global lineup of contemporary artists, including David Choe, Ron English, RETNA, James Jean, Jeff Soto, and Blek Le Rat.

During the opening reception and Culver City Art Walk, Michelle connected with several of the artists:

  • David Choe, internationally renowned for his bold and raw street-influenced artwork, whose works have appeared in galleries across Tokyo, Germany, and the U.S.
  • Mear One, legendary Los Angeles muralist known for his politically charged anti-war works, including a prominent piece on Sunset Blvd.
  • Kenton Parker, whose work is represented by the Kantor Gallery (which also exhibits Andy Warhol and Keith Haring), shared a conversation with Michelle about the artistic process and emotional storytelling.
  • Farron Kerzner, musician and visual artist, discussed their piece “Psychic Chaos” and the influence of H.P. Lovecraft.

Cameo Theater – “Nude Nite” – Orlando, Florida

Michelle Valentine attended the provocative and highly anticipated Nude Nite, a curated art experience celebrating the nude form in all its expressive and artistic diversity. Held in Orlando’s iconic Cameo Theater, the event featured body-painted performers, avant-garde visual art, and a warehouse-gallery environment pulsing with creativity.

Nude Nite is recognized as one of Florida’s most daring and talked-about art events. Michelle’s attendance connected her with a network of bold, expressive artists, affirming her place in contemporary explorations of form, psychology, and beauty.

Steinway Piano Galleries – “Meet the Artist” – Altamonte Springs, Florida

Throughout the entire month of February, Steinway Piano Galleries hosted a solo exhibition of paintings, collage, and drawings by Florida artist Michelle Valentine. Her works were displayed throughout the elegant showroom among grand pianos, offering visitors a tranquil and artful experience.

The highlight of the month was a special evening of a “Meet the Artist” reception, where guests also enjoyed live jazz by the Bernie Lee Quartet and a wine bar. The event welcomed an upscale and engaged audience, creating a memorable evening of music, conversation, and artistic inspiration.

This highly attended, museum-hosted event drew a packed house for a special Valentine’s-themed evening at the Orlando Museum of Art. Michelle Valentine presented a solo art display and delivered her original lecture titled “Singles & Art: Creating a Great Relationship.”

Attendees enjoyed an immersive evening filled with love poetry, music, wine, food, dancing, a DJ, prizes, and more — setting the stage for Michelle Valentine’s engaging presentation blending art, psychology, and relationships. The energy was vibrant, with visitors filling the galleries wall-to-wall, then gathered for Michelle’s insightful presentation blending art, psychology, and modern relationships.

In her early creative career, Michelle Valentine worked as an interior designer and vignette stylist, curating visual displays that blended art and home décor, foreshadowing her transition into fine art.

Ominicom Cablevision – “Michelle’s Craft Show” – Hamtramck, Michigan

1984

As a teenager, Michelle Valentine began blending her love for art and television by hosting Michelle’s Craft Show on Omnicom Cablevision in Hamtramck, Michigan. This charming DIY series taught viewers how to create a variety of arts and crafts, including handmade jewelry and floral arrangements. Though not a traditional gallery show, it marked Michelle Valentine’s first step into the creative spotlight—showcasing her artistic eye, teaching skills, and early television presence.
