While I’m listening to my favorite spooky Halloween music of ‘Monster Mash’, I will start decorating the house for Halloween.
It’s a great idea to prepare early! Check out this recipe for Candy Corn Pizza, it’s fun and delicious!
1 tablespoon pizza seasoning
1 (14.5 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 package pizza dough, prepared according to package directions
1/3 cup monterey jack cheese
3/4 cup orange cheddar cheese
1/2 orange bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1/4 white onion, sliced
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
Prepare pizza sauce according to package directions using the pizza sauce seasoning and tomato sauce.
Prepare pizza dough according to package directions.
Roll out pizza dough into a 12-14 inch round and place on a greased, rimmed baking sheet.
Spread prepared pizza sauce evenly on the dough.
Fill the center with Monterey jack cheese and cover the remaining dough with orange cheddar cheese.
Place white onion slices in the center of the pizza on top of the Monterey jack cheese.
Next, arrange the orange pepper slices in a 2-3 inch circle around the onion.
Do the same with the yellow pepper slices in a ring around the orange pepper slices.
Place in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
