Dear Michelle Valentine,

My wife and I have been married now for nearly a year now and I want to get her something really special for our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple.

You’re the Relationship Expert, Michelle Valentine – what would you suggest?

Happy Hubby in Hunter’s Creek

Dear Hubby,

Congratulations on your status as a newly married, happy husband!

Here’s some advice to keep your new wife happy, too:

I suggest a beautiful necklace that she can wear every day, and think of you each and every day. Diamonds are always the best bet… or maybe a red ruby to signify Valentine’s Day.

Or how about giving her a gift certificate to her favorite beauty salon… or maybe a new spa salon she’s talked about?

If she’s feeling a little stressed in her life right now, a day at the spa may be what she needs… and she will talk to all her friends and family what a wonderful husband she has, for treating her to a day at the spa, complete with massage, pedicure, manicure, facial, etc.

Or as a treat for the two of you:

A sexy little piece of lingerie would certainly keep your “honeymoon phase” going strong… let your imagination run wild!

Something red & lacey, or black leather, or something fun & fuzzy!

If finances are a bit tight, make her a Valentine’s Day card, and try to be a creative as possible. Most importantly, take the time to “write your heart out” describing how happy she makes you feel.

Happy Valentine’s Day to the two of you!
