One of the classic marquee attractions associated with the Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, is the Jungle Cruise.
On this slow-moving boat tour through the exotic jungles of Africa, Asia, and South America, a witty and funny skipper will guide your way.
Mine had a particular knack for making puns and getting a hearty laugh out of everyone onboard.
Throughout your journey, you’re bound to encounter all sorts of cute animatronic animals.
We managed to catch some shots of a giant group of elephants wading in the water and splashing each other.
When you ride for yourself, try to count how many elephants you see in total. I tried, but I eventually lost count!
Of course, elephants aren’t the only animals you’ll find on this tour!
There are so many different animals you can see!
I caught sight of some particularly hungry-looking alligators.
Thankfully, these guys won’t bite!
We even caught a hippo peeking at us from beneath the surface of the water!
If you keep your eyes peeled, you’ll probably find even more kinds of animals hiding in the jungle.
Pay close attention, and keep a camera handy!
I was admittedly sad when our boat docked and our skipper said goodbye to us.
The Jungle Cruise is a great family-friendly experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of the boat tour combined with the humor of our skipper.
The next time you find yourself in the Magic Kingdom, pop on over to Adventureland and set sail on the Jungle Cruise!
Have you ever been on the Jungle Cruise? If so, what was your favorite part, and what kind of animals did you see?
