Staybridge Suites Naples – Marco Island
When you’re exploring Florida’s Paradise Coast, choosing where to stay can make a big difference. Naples, Marco Island, Goodland and the Everglades cover a lot of ground, so having a comfortable hotel in a convenient location was especially important during our time filming Love Eat Travel with Michelle Valentine.
We stayed at Staybridge Suites Naples – Marco Island, and I was very impressed with the property. It was a newer hotel when we visited, the staff was wonderful, and our one-bedroom king suites gave us plenty of room to settle in during our stay.
The location also worked extremely well for everything we wanted to explore.

A Suite That Feels More Like Home
One thing I really liked was having a separate one-bedroom suite instead of a standard hotel room. After spending an entire day out exploring and filming, having some extra space was wonderful.
The suites also included kitchenettes, which are especially convenient for a longer trip. There are stores nearby, so you can easily pick up drinks, snacks or groceries and keep them in your room.
Even when I don’t plan on cooking during a trip, I love having a refrigerator and kitchen area. It’s one of those little conveniences that becomes much more important when you’re staying several nights.
A Great Location for Exploring Paradise Coast
Location was one of the biggest advantages for us.
From the hotel, we could head toward Marco Island and Goodland, explore Naples or venture farther into the Everglades. There were also stores and plenty of places to eat nearby.
If you’re planning a Paradise Coast vacation that involves more than staying in one spot, having a central home base can save a lot of driving back and forth.
We were moving around constantly while filming, and the location worked very well for us.
The Pool Was Fabulous
The pool area was one of my favorite parts of the hotel. It really felt like somewhere you could spend some time rather than simply taking a quick swim.
There’s also an outdoor chickee-style bar with a thatched roof beside the pool, which adds a fun Florida feel to the area.
During our stay, there was also a happy hour with complimentary drinks and appetizers for guests. Hotel offerings can change, so I wouldn’t plan a trip around that particular perk, but we certainly enjoyed it while we were there!
Hot Breakfast Before a Day of Exploring
The hotel also served a hot breakfast buffet, and the food was delicious.
When you’re planning a full day exploring Naples, Marco Island or the Everglades, being able to eat breakfast before leaving the hotel is incredibly convenient. It certainly made our busy mornings easier.
Practical Extras for a Longer Stay
There were several other conveniences that made this property work particularly well for a multi-day trip, including free parking, Wi-Fi and laundry facilities.
Those aren’t necessarily the glamorous parts of choosing a hotel, but they’re often some of the most useful.
Laundry facilities can be especially valuable during a longer Florida vacation when you’re spending days outside, around the water or exploring in the heat.
Who Might Enjoy Staying Here?
I think this hotel makes the most sense for travelers who plan to explore several parts of Florida’s Paradise Coast rather than spend their entire vacation at one resort.
Having a suite and kitchenette gives you more flexibility for a longer stay, while the pool area gives you somewhere to relax when you’re not out exploring.
For us, the combination of space, location, amenities and a genuinely friendly staff made it a very comfortable home base.
As always, hotel amenities and services can change, so check current information with the property when planning your trip.
