There are also plenty of fun activities to do on the island, including diving, snorkeling, and swimming with dolphins. Plus of course, lots of upscale shopping for fine jewelry and perfumes.

The Grand Cayman Turtle Farm

I love marine animals, and the Grand Cayman Turtle Farm was on my list to visit! I is a world-renowned turtle sanctuary that has been rescuing and rehabilitating turtles for over 30 years. The farm is located is home to over 20,000 turtles and is the only place in the world where all six species of sea turtles can be found.

The farm offers a variety of turtle-related activities, including turtle tours, turtle adoptions, and turtle conservation courses.

The farm also has a state-of-the-art turtle hospital, where injured and sick turtles are cared for by a team of dedicated veterinarians. Please consider making a monetary donation while there.

Visit Hell in Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, but there’s one thing that sets Grand Cayman apart from other tropical destinations: Hell.

Yes, you read that right! Hell is a real place, and it’s located in Grand Cayman. Hell is a small town with a population of about 200 people. The town got its name from the black limestone that covers the ground, which is said to be the result of a volcanic eruption. It was an unusual site to see (you can’t walk on it), so don’t miss the visit!

Despite its sinister name, Hell is actually a pretty popular tourist spot. Visitors can buy postcards and T-shirts from the “Devil’s Anvil” shop, take photos next to the “Welcome to Hell” sign, or even send a letter from the “Post Office of Hell.” I bought a pair of shorts that says “Devil’s Hangout” on the backside!

If you’re looking for a unique vacation spot, add Grand Cayman and Hell to your list… and buy a cool souvenir.

Take a bike ride around Grand Cayman

I love bike riding, and Grand Cayman is a beautiful place to explore by bike! There are plenty of routes to choose from depending on your level of fitness and interest, but if you’re looking for a leisurely ride, the West Bay loop is a good option.

My mom and I took this 8-mile route along the coast, past some of the island’s most popular beaches.

Plus we rode past residents’ homes and had to dodge around quite a few chickens in the road!

Hike to the top of Seven Mile Beach for some truly breathtaking views

Seven Mile Beach is one of the most popular beaches on Grand Cayman, and for good reason. The views from the top are truly breathtaking, and the hike to get there is relatively easy.

The trailhead is located just off of West Bay Road, near the public beach access. From there, the trail winds its way through some dense vegetation before opening up to give way to stunning views of the ocean.

The trail is well-marked and easy to follow, making it a great option for those looking for an easy hike with incredible rewards.
